Permanent hair removal or temporary, which will it be?
Unwanted hair is something that both men and women have had to deal with since the start of time.
Luckily, for thousands of years, there have been people trying to find solutions to look their best and make this problem obsolete. As the years have passed and technology has improved, there have been many different methods created to avoid this nasty problem.
When it comes to choosing which method will be the most effective for you, it is best to first start by learning about all of your options. While there are a number of temporary hair removal choices, there are also some permanent hair removal options available as well.
Temporary Hair Removal
There are many options for temporary hair removal, with the most common one being shaving.
While this is effective at getting rid of unwanted hair, it only lasts for a short period of time and has to be repeated regularly to keep the hair at bay. Along the same lines of shaving is waxing, which can be done at home or by a professional.
There are many different types of waxing and while this method does keep you hair free longer than shaving, it is still only a temporary solution to the problem.
Permanent Hair Removal
When it comes to permanent hair removal options, there are two popular options: laser hair removal and electrolysis.
Laser hair removal uses a laser light to target the hair follicle and eliminate hair growth. Electrolysis, on the other hand, utilizes a small needle to penetrate the hair follicle in order to stop hair growth. Both of these methods have been proven to be an effective way to permanently remove body hair, and the choice of which one to utilize is a personal one.
Many people prefer the idea of laser hair removal because there is no needle involved; however, electrolysis is the only treatment recognized by the FDA and American Medical Association as being permanent.
